U-M Director of the Water Center Jennifer Read and researchers lead an assessment studying the Detroit watershed, finding significant phosphorous sources, which eventually end up in Lake Erie, coming from wastewater treatment and industrial facilities on the U.S. side and primarily agricultural sources on the Canadian side.
